Accountability

Little Known History Fact: 15 years ago, people took responsibility for their actions. A higher percentage of kids knew their parents, a higher percentage of men were supporters and protected our women, a higher percentage of women would rather have home fame, rather than street fame, etc. Life was easier back then. It was a pretty good time. They brought back everything else, why can't we bring back civility, decency, and order? We have to lead by example more, whether our audience is child or adult. Young unguided youths become old unguided breeders. We can learn fron one another those things that we missed or didn't have to use yet. Until we understand how today greatly impacts tomorrow, we will continue to go down the path of destruction. What have you done to help?

Privileged Requests

Hmm. Just thinking. When we tell people to evacuate during natural disasters do we ever think of the privilege in the notion of just loading up the car and grabbing a hotel or a safe place? Some of these people just paid mortgage and first of the month bills and may not have the resources. Some may have been displaced previously and used up their emergency allocation. Some just don't have it. And here we are telling people to just get outta there and backseat driving. I pray that their creator provide for them what's needed to "evacuate." Gotta be better.

Post Valentine's Day Rant

So, how was your Valentine's Day? Ladies, did you get what you expected or what you deserved? Lol, they'll be thinking about that question all day. Fellas, did you break the bank to show off or get out of the dog house? Fellas, we all know we do things big to be impressionable. Single or strapped, this is the day after. Did yesterday really mean anything to you? Probably not, thus the reason why I keep it plain and simple. There is nothing wrong with a made up day to show your ability to show up instead of talk it up, but take due notice of your activity thereafter. Fellas, Ladies, try something new starting today. Trust me, it works. Show up everyday for the rest of your lives, meaning show that Valentine's day heart and spirit everyday. This takes minimal financial effort for most, but it does take a little over time. Love the hell out of yourself first, then Love the hell out of the world around you. It works......#yep

MARRIAGE

Lately there's been alot of talk about marriage. You know, marriage is what you make it. Don't go into it thinking that it's a fairy-tale or that everything is going to be perfect. Marriage is a relationship, like all relationships, there is some good and some bad. The commitment makes you think about your actions and mostly your words when communicating. Marriage is beautiful. There is joy and there is pain. Enjoy them both. When you do decide to get married, there should be no question but what to wear. A Queen is bred for a King and a King is bred to protect and provide for his Queen. Once you're married, you have that life partner that will ride with you on the journey of life through storms and sunshine. When you stumble, you have someone there to steady you. When you fall, you have someone to look up to as they lift you up. Marriage is what marriage is. One Life, One Marriage, Eternal Happiness.
