The Circle - Tobacco Leaf Chronicle

Every morning all I can imagine is 10AM rolling around for another day in the Circle. The doors normally open on time, sometimes they're a few minutes late, but it's all good because I know eventually I will get to the Circle. The floors will be filled with ash, and the can next to the fridge will be filled with trash, but it's all good because I know I'll get to the Circle. Sometimes, it's filled with strangers or even an occasional hookah, but it's all good just as long as I can get to the Circle. Sometimes it's filled with thirst, sometimes it's filled with bull, but it's all good as long as I can get to the Circle. You can walk in with a 5, 10, or 20, but a dollar is all you need to place a bet when you get to the Circle. You can be sleepy, tired, or just worn out and need a nap, but it's all good in the Circle. Even if you're from Harlem you can come to the Circle. Puppies of all sorts get to visit the Circle. Little People are always welcome in the Circle. Maybe it's just me, but every single person in the Circle must work with Tommy (off of Martin), cause yall are always in that damn Circle.

The Circle has many services such as: Counseling Sevices, Alcoholics Anonymous - we won't tell, Mentoring Services, Le Man's Classes, Child Birthing - only on Wednesdays, Traffic School, Kama Sutra, Binge Drinking Services, Midget Awareness, B.I.D. Awareness, Anger Management, Leg Crossing Technique, Music Therapy, Silent Word Hearing - what they really wanted to say, Thirst Awareness, Gambling, Political Side Bargaining. Hell they do it all, baby's daddies are found in the Circle.

One thing I love about that Circle, is it's hell, inside and out....bottomline. It's just something about that Circle that don't allow bullshit to walk or outsiders to talk...but it welcomes all to come that have something to give and not all to take.

Most of all just to walk in and see noone in my damn seat after a long day of HARD WORK is the best thing ever when I get to the circle at 1115AM.

All in all, that Circle that accepts my shyness, and unwillingness to speak my mind at times, and my unwillingness to smoke more than one cigar, and my unwillingness to drink the alcohol that is supplied and offered at times, and my unwillingness to shed my political views, and my unwillingness to cuss a mother (shut yo mouth) out, and my unwillingness to share a laugh or two, makes my day.

I LOVE THE CIRCLE. AND I LOVE ALL OF THE CIRCLE CREW.

AND TO THE MOFO'S THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CIRCLE AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR........."FUCK EM"

Post Valentine's Day Rant

So, how was your Valentine's Day? Ladies, did you get what you expected or what you deserved? Lol, they'll be thinking about that question all day. Fellas, did you break the bank to show off or get out of the dog house? Fellas, we all know we do things big to be impressionable. Single or strapped, this is the day after. Did yesterday really mean anything to you? Probably not, thus the reason why I keep it plain and simple. There is nothing wrong with a made up day to show your ability to show up instead of talk it up, but take due notice of your activity thereafter. Fellas, Ladies, try something new starting today. Trust me, it works. Show up everyday for the rest of your lives, meaning show that Valentine's day heart and spirit everyday. This takes minimal financial effort for most, but it does take a little over time. Love the hell out of yourself first, then Love the hell out of the world around you. It works......#yep

Super Glue

When you allow yourself to become stuck: mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, socially, and culturally, you have become the problem with human nature. You have become worthless. You have become the reason why not. You have become lifeless. You only exist. What are you stuck on or to?

Stand Strong America...in the wake of the Tragedy in Boston

As we express our condolences for those immediately affected by the tragedy in Boston, let us not forget that we stand here as men and women created by a Supreme Being (for those that do believe in that concept) that will provide the comfort needed in this time of sorrow. We should not get angry and fill ourselves with thoughts of violence against others, but rather look inside of our hearts and minds and ask for healing for those affected. Times may seem troubling, but they have and will be far worse. Don't lose your faith over a mixed emotion. We will get past this event and be stronger from it just as long as we keep our composure and trust and believe that we all will be healed. Weeping may endure for tonight........
